The Nexus operates its internal signal processing at 32-bit floating-point resolution throughout the digital mix path, maintaining the headroom and dynamic range that 24-bit consumer-grade processors cannot provide at the signal peaks that energetic mixing produces. Six independent stereo input channels, each with its own dedicated gain trim, 3-band parametric EQ, filter control, and effects routing, allow the simultaneous connection of turntables, CDJ players, hardware synthesizers, drum machines, and DJ software outputs without any patch reconfiguration between sources.
