The Mixstory Beat Pro DJ Laptop Stand is a booth-mounting laptop positioning solution designed for the DJ who runs software from a laptop during performance and requires the laptop screen at an ergonomic viewing angle without occupying the limited tabletop real estate that DJ equipment already fills. The challenge of laptop positioning in a DJ booth is specific — the laptop must be visible without head-down posture that breaks eye contact with the crowd, within arm’s reach for track selection and mouse operation, positioned out of the path of crossfader and jog wheel operation, and stable enough that it does not shift or tilt during the vibration of a live performance environment. Mixstory’s articulating arm solves this challenge by clamping to the DJ table’s edge or rack rail and positioning the laptop platform independently of the equipment surface — above, behind, or to the side of the main equipment layout rather than on it. The articulating arm provides three pivot joints — the clamp rotation, the lower arm pivot, and the platform tilt — allowing the laptop platform to be positioned anywhere within a 300mm radius from the clamp point in three-dimensional space. A 360-degree rotation joint at the clamp allows the arm to swing from directly behind the table edge to 90 degrees in either direction, providing flexibility for both center-mounted and side-mounted clamp positions. The quick-release clamp mechanism attaches to surfaces between 20mm and 60mm thick — covering standard DJ table edges, plywood tops, and most rack rail sections — and tightens with a single lever that requires no tools to attach or remove. The 15-inch maximum platform width accommodates all standard DJ laptops including 15.6-inch models. A cable management clip on the lower arm section routes the laptop power cable away from the performance surface. Height adjustment from 200mm to 500mm above the clamp point, via the arm’s two pivot joints, provides the vertical positioning range that different table heights and viewing preferences require.
