The Mixstory Beat 4-Channel DJ Mixer is a standalone analog mixer built for the DJ who plays with external source decks — turntables, CDJs, media players, or any combination — and demands the sonic quality, operational reliability, and routing flexibility that professional-level club installation and touring use requires. Mixstory has built the Beat 4-Channel around a discrete audio signal path that maintains analog integrity from phono input to master output without the digital conversion artifacts that inferior mixer designs introduce through unnecessary analog-to-digital processing stages. Each of the four channels features a dedicated 3-band kill equalizer with frequency center points set at the positions Mixstory’s engineering team determined through testing across hundreds of musical genres — 80 Hz for bass kill, 2.5 kHz for mid kill, and 12 kHz for high kill — with true kill behavior that drops each band to minus 26 dB at full counter-clockwise rotation rather than the minus 12 dB limitation of filters sold as kills on budget mixers. The 60mm channel faders use Mixstory’s sealed conductive polymer track mechanism that eliminates the dust-ingress noise and crackle degradation that open-track fader designs develop after 50 to 100 hours of use in club environments. Dual USB inputs allow two hosts to connect simultaneously and alternate between sources without cable swapping — an operational necessity for back-to-back DJ sets where a smooth transition requires both DJs to be connected at the same time. The effects send and return loop on each channel routes signal to external effects processors and back without interrupting the signal path, allowing parallel processing that maintains dry signal integrity. Balanced XLR master and booth outputs provide noise-free signal delivery to professional amplification systems at any cable run length. Dimensions: 350mm × 280mm × 100mm. Weight: 4.1 kg.
