The Stage CDJ’s 7-inch full-color IPS touchscreen display is the largest in its price class and provides the touch-based library navigation and waveform display that allows DJs to locate, cue, and beatmatch tracks with the speed that professional performance demands. Mixstory’s waveform overview displays the full track length with a scrollable detailed view of the current playback position, overlaid with beat grid markers and cue point indicators that allow visual phrase matching without relying on counting alone. The 200mm diameter jog wheel features a center hub tension adjustment and a touch-sensitive surface that distinguishes between scratch-mode hand contact and pitch-bend finger contact based on the contact point — fingers on the outer rim produce vinyl-style pitch bend; palm contact on the hub surface activates scratch mode.
